"Learn to Move and Groove" Creative Kids Camp

The inaugural Creative Kids Camp program entitled, “Learn to Move and Groove” with dance and creative movement teacher Colette Rood from the Vancouver Schools. In each two-hour session each of the two days, campers will be taught the essential elements needed to make their own movement patterns and set them to music. The program is designed for children with or without any prior arts experience. Our creativity motto is, “It’s not about where you end up, it’s all about how you got there!”

August 22-23: “Learn to Move and Groove” dance and creative movement classes.

August 22:

10:00 AM – NOON: Class session #1, for 7/8-year-olds

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Class session #1, for 9/10-year-olds

August 23:

10:00 AM – NOON: Class session #2, for 7/8-year-olds

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Class session #2, for 9/10-year-olds

Each camp session is limited to 20 students.

Note: The Barn is a covered facility with two open sides allowing for maximum ventilation, therefore masks are not required at this time. Students are required to be vaccinated and submit proof of vaccination at sign up (all COVID policies are subject to change).

Campers should be dropped off at the Hoffman Farms Store’s Butler Barn approximately ½-hour before the start of class. Campers may not be picked up earlier than the end of class for any reason.
