"Growing Your Own Art" Creative Kids Camp

The inaugural “Growing Your Own Art” program, created specifically for our Hoffman Farms environment. Visual art teacher Christine Reynolds formerly of the Beaverton Schools will lead campers through the processes needed to create their own works of art each day. Campers only need to wear clothing that is washable just in case the creativity gets a little messy! The program is designed for children with or without any prior arts experience. Our creativity motto is, “It’s not about where you end up, it’s all about how you got there!”

August 24-25: “Growing Your Own Art” visual arts classes.

August 24:

10:00 AM – NOON: Class session #1, for 7/8-year-olds

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Class session #1, for 9/10-year-olds

August 25:

10:00 AM – NOON: Class session #2, for 7/8-year-olds

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Class session #2, for 9/10-year-olds

Each camp session is limited to 20 students.

Note: The Barn is a covered facility with two open sides allowing for maximum ventilation, therefore masks are not required at this time. Students are required to be vaccinated and submit proof of vaccination at sign up (all COVID policies are subject to change).

Campers should be dropped off at the Hoffman Farms Store’s Butler Barn approximately ½-hour before the start of class. Campers may not be picked up earlier than the end of class for any reason.
