ABOUT THE EVENT
August 22-23 is the inaugural Creative Kids Camp program entitled, “Do You Like My Hat: Learning About Theater Arts’” with Carolyn DeLany. Children learn to express themselves through theater. With improvisation games, simple creative playwriting and fun, children will tap into their natural creativity in a safe environment to ponder their world.
Carolyn DeLany teaches our theater class. She is a veteran of the Broadway stage and Broadway touring companies. Carolyn has taught theater and choir in various public school districts in Oregon. One of the books she will be working with in class is Go Dog Go by, P.D. Eastman.
The program is designed for children with or without any prior arts experience. Our creativity motto is, “It’s not about where you end up, it’s all about how you got there!”
